Rolling Admissions
*Note: There is a November 15 deadline for priority consideration for the Honors College and scholarships.
Conditional Acceptance
*Note: Conditional acceptance is a real admissions decision. It means a school believes in you and sees your potential.
Transient
You are enrolled at another college or university but would like to take a few classes elsewhere for credit toward your degree at your home institution.
Non-Traditional
You haven’t been in school in a while and would like to return. It’s been more than five years since you attended high school or completed your last college courses without earning a degree.
Postbaccalaureate
You have already earned a bachelor’s degree but are interested in taking more classes without seeking a degree.
Transfer
You’re enrolled at another college or university but are looking to change schools. You have already completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework.
High School
You entered the National Guard or Reserves right out of high school. You’ve never been enrolled in a college or university, with the exception of dual enrollment through your high school. You’ve completed fewer than 30 credit hours of college coursework at any institution.
Transient
You are enrolled at another college or university but would like to take a few classes elsewhere for credit toward your degree at your home institution.

Steps to Prepare for College
To use your educational benefits, you must first submit an online application to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Visit vets.gov/education/apply/. If you are a prospective student and wish to apply to Georgia State University, visit our Undergraduate Admissions or Graduate Admissions offices. Allow plenty of time to complete the process. It can take up to five to six weeks to complete the process depending on the benefits and financial aid for which are you are applying. Check out the following:

Did you know that Georgia State University waives all mandatory fees for reservists, National Guard and active-duty servicemembers? Just complete the Military Service Verification Form confirming your military service and return it to the Military Outreach Center on your campus.
