The Military Outreach Centers (MOC) are currently closed. However, all MOC staff remain available to assist you via email each weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. On the right side of this page, you will find the email address to contact your campus Military Student Advocate (MSA).
If you are a recipient of VA educational benefits, please note that Congress and President Trump have passed emergency legislation to help student veterans whose GI Bill benefits would have been disrupted due to school closures or classes being shifted to fully online. For more info, go here – Veterans’ GI Bill Benefits to Continue during COVID-19 Pandemic.
Check your Georgia State student email account daily, as the university and the VA will send updates as they become available.
If you plan to take classes during the summer semester and you will be using VA benefits, you must complete the online gVerify form so that Georgia State can certify your classes to the VA. Once your registration schedule has been finalized, complete the gVerify form via the gVerify website. You will also need to attach your VA Certificate of Eligibility. Remember, the online gVerify form must be submitted each semester that you intend to use your GI Bill Educational Benefits at Georgia State.
Please visit the Georgia State Covid-19 page regularly for general information related to Georgia State’s position during this time and to remain informed of any updates.
